Kasey Kahne will drive for Red Bull Racing next season.
The announcement by Red Bull on Tuesday solves the issue of where Kahne will drive while he waits to begin his contract with Hendrick Motorsports. Kahne has signed on to replace Mark Martin in the No. 5 Chevrolet at Hendrick starting in 2012.
Red Bull did not say which of its two Toyotas Kahne will drive. The team currently fields cars for Brian Vickers and Scott Speed, but Vickers is out this season being treated for blood clots.
