Australian Formula One title contender Mark Webber looked to have had a lucky escape on Sunday after suffering a spectacular crash at the European Grand Prix here.
The 33-year-old's Red Bull somersaulted and flipped over on lap ten of the 57-lap race after running into the back of Finn Heikki Kovalainen.
Webber appeared to walk away from the wreck of his car unhurt and was taken away in the medical car as a precaution.
The Australian, who is third in the overall world standings behind British McLaren duo Lewis Hamilton and Jeson Button, had started from the front row on the grid behind pole-sitter and teammate Sebastian Vettel of Germany.
However, he had a dreadful start slipping down to ninth and then pitted to be near the rear of the field when he had his crash.
